Radek "Flash" Bělina

The Heart of FSFilm.

In civilian life, he’s an IT guy, but in space, he’s more like FSFilm’s “jack-of-all-trades.” Radek works on the editing, occasionally stands behind the camera, acts, and in between, he even puts together the starship sets—that is, when he’s not deciding, together with Sokar and Igor, which project will be filmed next. You’ll find his name on most of what FSFilm has ever launched into space or onto the internet, from the series Star Trek: Diplomacy to the miniseries Yes, Captain! to the screenplay and direction of the disco tribute Village People Can’t Stop, in which he also played Captain Glenn Dirk.

In front of the camera—and often away from the spotlight—Flash is first and foremost Captain Pargimeos: a diplomat who keeps the crew together, just like his character. At 194 cm, he can play a commanding officer who commands respect, but he can just as easily hold the ceiling of a set when needed. He got his start in acting in the Tyjatrek theatre led by Sokar, and since 2015 he’s been fully immersed in film—and as evidenced by awards from amateur film festivals and a few newspaper articles, he’s doing a great job, even though he’s clearly just having fun doing it.
